| Business Plan Evaluation Process |
The submitted entries will be screened at three stages of the competition:
Stage I: Initial screening of executive summaries
Stage II: Screening of selected full business plans
Stage III: Final Round presentations and selection of winners
In every stage of the competition, the Business Plans will be evaluated by a group of professionals including established entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, bankers and experts within the development sector. The members of the jury will be asked to assess the plans based on their viability as well as their scalability and impact within the sector.
Kindly note the judging considerations might include (but will not be limited to) factors such as:
- The degree of creativity/innovativeness embodied in the basic opportunity definition of the business concept.
- The appropriateness of the strategy for exploiting the opportunity.
- The ability of the plan to finance the business
- The team’s/individual’s ability to actually implement/scale up the business.
- The level of social impact created by the business and how it will be measured (either from the beginning or as the organization matures)
